The problem with sharing passwords

When you send someone a password — over chat, email, or even another password manager — you've done something irreversible: you've turned a secret into shared knowledge. Once they've seen it, you can never un-share it. Revoking access means changing the password everywhere it's used.

Access is a permission, not a payload

looxpassword takes a different approach. When you share a login, we don't hand over the password. We grant the other person the cryptographic ability to use it. The credential itself never leaves the encrypted vault and is never revealed to them.
